Youth for Christ started in USA in 1945 with Billy Graham as the first full time staff. In India, it started in 1947 in Kolkata. Today, Youth for Christ is a world-wide Christian Movement working with young people around the globe. Motivated by our faith i Jesus Christ we share the good news of God with young people. Youth for Christ is made up of tens of thousands of full-time, part-time and volunteer indigenous staff in over 133 nations working together in giving every young person an opportunity to be a follower of Jesus Christ.
Youth for Christ uniquely reaches young people in ways that relevant to them in the context of their culture and life circumstances. Youth for Christ seeks to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to prayer, boldness in evangelism and commitment to social involvement.
